Indonesia

Temple courtyards, rice valleys and island journeys with room to slow down.

Start with the Indonesia trip you want

Begin with the islands and experiences you genuinely want, then protect the nights needed for the connections. Bali alone can fill two varied weeks. Three weeks support a slower Bali journey, a Java–Bali route or a Bali–Lombok combination, without pretending that each transfer is a short excursion.

A first Bali journey

Combine Ubud, Munduk, Sidemen and Sanur for culture, hills, rice valleys and an easier coastal finish. Add one Nusa island only with time for the full connection.

A wider Indonesian trip

Choose Java for Yogyakarta and deliberate mountain days, or Lombok for southern beaches, a foothill village and Gili Air. These are different three-week trips, not one compressed checklist.

Indonesia trip questions

Is Bali enough for two weeks?

Yes. Town culture, hills, rice valleys and a selected coast create a varied trip without an inter-island move.

Should I combine Java, Bali and Lombok in three weeks?

Our routes choose Java–Bali or Bali–Lombok separately, leaving usable time between the connections.

Does the family route require a boat?

No. Its three Bali bases allocate thirteen nights across fourteen days without an obligatory crossing.

Does this collection cover all Indonesia?

No. The fifteen destinations focus on Bali, selected Java bases and Lombok/Gili Air. Other islands deserve separate route planning.
